SKI SCHOOL: Lesson #1

Ski School at Seymour

Yesterday, you all participated in your first ski school lesson. We lucked out with the weather and enjoyed a relatively dry day on Seymour Mountain. Students of all abilities learned new skills and had the opportunity to apply them while skiing on the mountain. Thank you again to all the parent volunteers. Without your help, we would not have been able to participate in this wonderful opportunity. THANK YOU!!!!!

Yesterday was a very fun and exciting day of skiing. I was learning how to ski, and the day was filled with merriment.

I was with a instructor that taught my group how to ski. At first, we were just practising on bunny hill. It was boring and tiring because every time we slide down, we have to hike back up. Then, after lunch, things started to get more enjoyable. We got to ski down a simple but big hill. The best part was that we did not have to hike up. The magic carpet was all there is needed. When the day was almost over, my entire group got to ski down the entire hill without stopping. I was going down a tad to fast, and I almost missed my turn and ran in to a tree. I strained to righten myself, and managed to avoid the pain of running in to a tree. Then I skied down the rest of the hill with ease and speed.

In conclusion, I thoroughly enjoyed the experience of learning how to ski. The day was very fun even though my feet hurts from the ski boots.

Zoom! The car raced across the twisty path, until we reached the mount Seymour! Once we got off, I scanned the surroundings. There was slush on the ground, and some buildings around. Then we when in the cafeteria! After a little while the staff told us to get our equipment. Now it's time to ski!

We got grouped with our instructors! My instructor brought us to the bunny hill, which was a small hill for beginners. There we learned how to do the pizza, and to turn! Next up we had lunch. Today I was having pepperoni pizza! I would say the pizza was pretty good. After this was my highlight of the day! I got to ski on the bigger hill! Fortunately we didn't have to walk up because of the magic carpet! (Hint it isn't as cool as it sounds) The magic carpet is almost like and escalator, except it has no steps. Only a big slope. My group and I skied down a few times before we had to go.

I returned my rentals, and I waited for my group for the car ride. Then we when back down the mountain. The car ride was pretty uneventful, expect I did get a bit car sick. In conclusion the ski trip was very fun, and I'm excited to go again!

Once we got off, I scanned the surroundings. There was slush on the ground, and some buildings around. Then we when in the cafeteria! After a little while the staff told us to get our equipment. The equipment room was bustling with kids trying to get their rentals. I tried to get into my row in this mess, fortunately it was a success! Then I put on the boots, and found that they're were quite heavy and a bit uncomfortable, like weights on your feet. Then I shuffled along to get my rentals. Once I got my skis and helmet, I could finally get out of this stifling busy room! Now it's time to ski!

We got grouped with our instructors! Our group was Ethel, Ruby, Emma, Kystelle, Denise and Charlie. My instructor brought us to the bunny hill, which was a small hill for beginners. There we learned how to do the pizza, and to turn! Next up we had lunch. Today I was having pepperoni pizza! I would say the pizza was pretty good. After this was my highlight of the day! Skiing is such a fun and enjoyable activity. I didn't go to Seymour Mountain to go skiing yesterday so I'm just going to talk about my day yesterday. In the morning I had two choices between going to school or staying at home, and of course I chose to stay at home. The reason behind that is because I don't need to do extra work so I don't want to either. At first, I was pretty depressed because I had to do a lot of other work but then I remembered that I was going to Brieana's house that day and I felt a little better. I think the high point of my day was probably doing 10 pages of math because I usually only do 4. I know it's a pretty boring high point but there wasn't anything very interesting that happened.

In conclusion, I think that my day was obviously just a boring day of doing work. Today is going to be a interesting day because I get to read all my class mates stories and see what they did when they were skiing.

BOOM both Kyungsun and stephan went crashing into the tree. Yesterday for the first time I went skiing, it was an unforgettable experience and one that I am grateful to have.

My dad had always talked about how fun skiing was and how he wanted us to go someday. Finally yesterday I had the chance to go and it was quit q full and fun day.

First, we all drove up to Mount Seymour and arrived at around 9am (not too sure). Next, we got tags to attach to our jacket with our ski size and needed information on it. Along with that, we all got a card to put in our left hand jacket pocket that would be scanned before we would be aloud to go on stuff such as the magic carpet ride.From there we went into the ski and snow board rental building and looked for the compartment unit we were assigned to on our tags witch contained our ski/snowboard boots. After we put our boots on we headed to an area to get our helmets and skin's or snowboards depending on what you were doing. Afterwards we got into our levels based on experience. I was in level one because I had zero experience. After about 10 ish minutes of walking with our skin's on to a very small hill we divided into groups on eight. Later on my group went on the bunny hill and learned basic skills such as the pizza technique, how to turn, how to stop etc. the bunny hill is a small hill for beginners to practice basic skills. After about 2 hours of practice we took a short 20min lunch break.

After having a full stomach our group started heading to the magic carpet ride. The magic carpet is a escalator like "carpet" that takes you up after you have skied down the small run. Although, before we were aloud to go on the magic carpet run we had to go down a slightly steep hill while being in control and able to make wide turns on the way down. Most of us completed it successfully but one of our group members lost control while going down and crashed him and another student into a tree. Luckily everyone was fine and we were aloud to go to the magic carpet ride!

The magic carpet run was very fun and I really enjoyed it! Unfortunately I could not say the same about the magic carpet itself. The first three ish times I went up the magic carpet it was very nervous and constantly felt like I was going to fall. Adding on to that, at one point I was on the magic carpet it kept on harshly stopping while I was on it due to someone falling. Lucky, after doing it a few times I became more and more comfortable on the magic carpet!

Overall this was an amazing experience that inspired me to want to ski more often! Thank you to mr.Fisher and mr.Hong for arranging this!

Yesterday I went snowboarding and in this PAR I will tell you what happened. Yesterday was my very first day of snowboarding I loved it. first what happened we got there and we had to sit for a bit than we got our gear on, the gear was surprisingly comfortable. Second we went outside to be greeted by our coaches after the greeting we walked down to the hill we snowboarded down at first it look scary but after it got better. third our VERY epic coach told us how to brake and turn sounds easier than it was written but after I got the hang of it and that's when I had the most fun. In conclusion it was one of the most fun things I ever done but still can't beat diving and it is harder than it sounds.

We went to Seymour mountain and the first thing we did was to get our rentals. Afterwards, the class was separated into skiers, snowboarders and their levels. We then met up with the instructor and off to snowboarding we went. At first, it was hard to do my S turns because I haven't practiced it in a while, but once I practiced some more, I got better at it. The instructor decided to take us up to a blue run. When I was on the chairlift, I felt like my boot was going to fall off. I became more comfortable going on the chairlift in the afternoon. I snowboarded safely and had fun.

I'm getting better at snowboarding and I can't wait for my next lesson.

Yesterday we went to Mt Seymour to go skiing or snowboarding for an exciting field trip. Our school was split into 3 levels being levels 1, 2, and 3 for skiing and a beginner group and intermediate group for snowboarding. The first thing we started off with was the bunny hill, to test if we were in the right level for levels 2 and 3. It was pretty straight forward as one instructor at the top sending you down, and another instructor at the bottom watching you to determine which group you're in. I was put into the level 3 group along with a few of my other peers.

We basically started right away following our instructor to the chair lift. At the top we ended up at a blue run which was a lot of fun. Also going inside the trees was a cool experience since i've never done it before. We did a few more blue runs then all of a sudden "OOF", we were on the top of a black run trail that seemed like it was the end for me. I had a lot of fun on it because I enjoyed going quick. Soon after we went for lunch, which was very yummy, also getting to see our friends from the other groups again.

After lunch we went back to skiing which was a lot of fun. We went through many runs back to back quickly. Mostly we went on, blue and black trails just following our instructor. The instructor didn't really teach us anything, we just followed him around and him waiting for us telling where to go. One time I went on a jump that was to high for me, causing me to fly up and fall to the ground on my back. I had a lot of fun yesterday and I am very excited for the next time!

SLAM, the car door closes behind us and we quickly get ready to drive on the hour long trip. As we zoom by tress and slow moving cars, it seems like centuries since we started the drive to Seymour mountain.

Once we arrive at the mountain, we walk into the food court to find ten or fifteen others standing around making small talk. Once everyone arrived in the food court, our teacher, Mr. Hong explained to us what we were to do with the cards that were being handed out.

We quickly walked over to the rental lodge to get our boots and Skis, squishing through a crowd of people, deafens by the indistinct chatter all around us. As we waddle outside into the snow with our boots on and skis, we wait for our peers to finish putting on their boots and collecting their skis.

Once everybody had put on their boots and grabbed their skis, we all waddled toward the instructor, who decided to split us up into 3 separate groups. Me being in a group of all girls T_T. We were quickly told to start putting on our skis, not knowing what to do, many of us didn't know what to do. Our instructor taught us how to put on our skis and immediately when to teaching us the basic skills of skiing. After about 90 minutes later, we finally went into to have lunch.

When we went in to have lunch we had pizza, mac and cheese and turkey wraps, I had pizza, but it tasted rather odd. But I still enjoyed it because... well, its pizza.

We learned how to climb up a hill with skis, and much more. I think that this was a super fun trip and I am super excited to go next week.

Once we put our skis on, our instructor taught us how to turn with our skis and how to slow down while going down a hill. I caught on with turing with our skis but I had little trouble with stopping because I couldn't really bend my knees inward so far and so quickly, but I slowly managed to learn out to slow my descent.

We learned how to climb up a hill with skis, and much more. I think that this was a super fun trip and I am super excited to go next week. And the next following weeks.

As the horizon starts to brighten, signalling the start of a new day, we were headed to Seymour mountains for our ski trip.

About an hour later...

As we arrived at our destination, we waited in the cafeteria for the others. Once everyone had showed up, the staff and Mr. Hong explained to us what would be happening.

Ten minutes later...

Everyone was dressed and ready, so the instructors each took a small party to teach. Everyone in my group learned to hike and ski for the first time. Lunch was great, and we were even given the opportunity to ski down a hill, and everyone had an amazing time!

Yesterday I went to Seymour mountain to ski With my classmates, And you will never believe what happened! I drove to the mountain with my friends, and when we got there I put my equipment on a rack. Then my instructor put us into groups. It was very snowy out that day!!! As we started skiing, One of my classmates started rolling down the hill after they fell down! It reminded me of when I tripped over a rock on a mountain climb and cut my knee. After that we had lunch and then skied some more. Then finally I Came back home, I really enjoyed the experience and I am excited to do it three times more!

Crunch, crunch, crunch. The sounds of our class's footsteps on the snow overlapped one another, along with the constant chatter coming from our school and many others. At last, we were here at Mount Seymour. A very anticipated trip was coming to reality.
It was a foggy morning on a Monday, and many of us were tired. It was cold, snowy, and foggy, not an ideal weather if we weren't on a mountain.
I quickly tried to get my skis on and get ready, as I had a long day of skiing ahead of me. Through the endless crowds of people, I retrieved my equipment. I headed outside in the snow, waiting for further instructions.
After a while, our teachers came and we, the 'intermediates' (the people who knew how to ski) got separated with the beginners. We got split by our ability levels, and began our day. I personally, was a level 2 (I knew how to ski, but not too well), and I was excited to begin.
Our instructor was very friendly and we got on with our day. It was a rocky start, with our group spending 4 hours on the magic carpet. After four, very long hours, we made it to the ski lifts. With a difficulty of 'Green/Blue,' it shouldn't be too much of a challenge, right? Well...right. It wasn't too much of a challenge. The only issue was it was quite slippery (far more than the magic carpet) meaning I crashed into the instructor unintentionally.

Overall, I really enjoyed my first ski lesson and I'm excited to go 3 more times! :)

I decided to ski down instead (following her recommendation), but immediately after, I regretted it. I realized I was way too close to the group, and I lost control and crashed into the instructor. I felt extremely bad and apologized afterwards.

Overall, I really enjoyed my first ski lesson and I'm excited to go 3 more times! :)

Click, clack, click, clack went the ski boots of grade sevens striding to the ski rack. As we put our skis on and secured our helmets, the Seymour ski instructors walked over and split us into groups. My group was with Ariel, Yiming, Colin, Sabrina, Daniel, Alice, and Adrian. We went down some blues and blacks and all had fun together. However, Alice decided to leave our group. With teary eyes and broken hearts (not really), we bid her farewell. To mourn the loss of our fellow group mate, we went down a black trail called Noel's Flight. However, disaster awaits us (me specifically). On a hump of snow, I slipped and immediately fell down the hill, not being able to stop and rolling all the way down over lumps of snow. My skis snapped off and I heard a crack. When I reached the bottom of the hill, I quickly sat up to find the source of the sound. My pole strap had snapped off. I screamed in anger (internally) and mourned the loss of my pole strap (also internally). However, my bad luck was still hanging around. At lunch, I dropped my lunch on the ground. My delicious pepperoni pizza was wasted. To "survive" I went around "stealing" french fries. from my friends. However, Mr. Fisher and Mr. Hong gave me chili and french fries out of pity (jk) and I managed to survive for the rest of the day. The ski trip was pretty fun, and I hope Lady Luck will be on my side next week.

Click, clack, click, clack went the ski boots of grade sevens striding to the ski rack. On Monday January 27 the grade sevens of Sir Wilfrid Laurier went skiing at Mr. Seymour. As we put our skis on and secured our helmets, the Seymour ski instructors walked over and split us into groups. My group was with Ariel, Yiming, Colin, Sabrina, Daniel, Alice, and Adrian. We went down some blues and blacks and all had fun together. However, Alice decided to leave our group. With teary eyes and broken hearts (not really), we bid her farewell. To mourn the loss of our fellow group mate, we went down a black trail called Noel's Flight. However, disaster awaits us (me specifically). PLOP, PLOP. that's the noises made in the snow when the heavy ski boots of mine dug into the fresh snow on Seymour mountain. The dressing room was kinda crazy. there were lots of people in the place and the isles were very small. after i found my ski boots, i got some help to put them on and i was ready to go. i got my skis and went outside to where the beginners were standing. we got our group and learned how to side step and move in our skis. after we went to the bunny hill and learned how to stop and turn. then we headed to the cafe and had lunch. i was very sweaty and hot. after lunch my group went over to the magic carpet. we went down the smaller parts of the hills first, then we slowly made our way up to the big hill, and we got to follow the teacher down the hill. we had to practice turning, stopping and controlling our speed. i struggled to stop and control my speed at first. but then i learned how to do those with some feedback from the teachers and maxwell. the magic carpet lift, was pretty cool. at the bottom, the cards that let you on, scan through your left pocket without you taking them out. then to get on, it was kind of scary because lots of kids were falling at the opening at the beginning, and then they had to stop the whole ride. after they stop the ride, when it starts again, it jerks a lot. i almost fell when they stopped the ride, because i was in the middle, and again when they started it. i think i turned better than i expected because when you actually make big turns on skis, the leg and hips motions are very similar to a golf backswing. we went down the magic carpet hill about 15 times and then we had to go. i overall really enjoyed this trip and I'm looking forward to next time!

We went to the Seymour mountain yesterday and have fun in it.

After the parents volunteer driver drove us to the mountain the first thing we did are get our rentals. Secondly, we get in few groups that had the different levels and practice. After lunch, we did something even more fun, my group started to ski down the hill using th pizza skill and use magic carpet to get up again. But the first time I just couldn't control my speed.

At the end I think ski are fun.

We rounded numerous corners until we drove up to a building that resembles an over sized cabin. I could tell it was the right building because all my classmates were walking into the building with their gear. We were there. Mount Seymour.

We all hopped out of the car, clearly eagerly anticipating the day planned ahead of us. One of us was so excited that he tried opening the door before the car was fully stopped. After listening to all the rules and attaching our cards onto our jackets, we finally got started. The rental room was extremely crowded with a stifling heat, so I buckled up my boots, slapped my helmet on, retrieved my skis as fast as I could and got out of there.
After attaching our boots to the skis, all the level ones started shuffling over the snow. We also did some side steps to go up the slant without sliding back down. Little did we know we were being assessed into groups with matching ability levels. Once we were sorted into our groups, we touched up on our shuffling and side stepping skills. When our instructor was pleased with our capabilities, she moved us onto a slightly steeper hill. From there we learned and practiced stopping and turning. Once again, when the instructor was pleased with all our skills, we skied down steeper hills and practices our stops.
Our little group came to a stop at a heavily inclined hill. It was so steep that there was a "magic carpet" to carry you up to the top. When I first went down, it was I found it was to fast, but soon enough I came to enjoy it. There was a certain rush that I got when I sped down the hill. Then there was the magic carpet. It was so peaceful. Quite honestly, it felt surreal. How could anything be so calm with so much activity around it. I was in awe. After repeatedly practicing all the skills we learned throughout lesson, we had to call it a day.

We got back to the rental building and returned out equipment, and headed home. I couldn't focus on the drive back as I was still thinking about the mountain, but all was forgotten as I went into a deep slumber as soon as I got home.

The black third gen mazda 3`s headlights cut through the thick fog like a really cheap dollar store knife through a piece of very hard butter. through the very thick fog i could make out around 30 feet of road ahead which was littered with bets of snow and strange streams of orangy water. By the time we arrived at Mount Seymour it was around a hour since we left the cloth, plastic and fake carbon fiber interior of Yiming`s mom`s car and i was pretty tired. We then made our way to a building where we got our tags which we then used to get our rentals. The ski boots were actually painful (mostly mentally) to put on as it was hard to distinguish left from right and the straps were hard to tighten. Finally we got to actually ski. But with my group being complete beginners meant that we didn't do anything interesting. At least for the first part. After we proved to the instructor that we weren't completely incompetent my group was moved over to a much steeper and larger hill. For context the hill we used for the absolute basics was around 10 degrees and maybe about 20 feet long. The fun one looked to be around 400 feet and set at around 15 to 20 degrees. This did mean that it was hard to stop which led to a few incidents were i slammed into people and people slammed into me. This including the time Stephen slammed into me yeeting me into a tree. Not exactly a fun experience. Other than that and the 15 trillion times i fell over it went ok. The feeling of going down a hill at like 10 mph is quite hard to describe. You feel weightless and very maneuverable and fast as well as a bit terrified due to the fact that it is a bit hard to stop. However this isnt much of a problem as there is about 110 feet of flat ground towards the end which is plenty to be able to stop. Whats also good is that the snow is very soft and cushions your fall. This probably prevented me from injuring my self a few hundred times. Snow is proven to be really good at this to the point where at one point soviet paratroopers literally didn't get parachutes and were just told to jump in the snow from a low flying plane. This and a excessive amount of alcohol meant that they didn't get injured from the fall that often. Same thing applies here minus the planes and alcohol. After a while we returned our rentals and drove for a really long time back to school
In conclusion skiing was pretty fun and i hope next time i dont get slammed into a tree hard enough to cause damage.

I’ve always had a fear of skiing because of the adrenaline rush it gives me. if it weren’t for this fieldtrip, I don’t think I would have even considered going skiing for a long time.

I put on my ski gear and headed over to the rental hut. there, I got my ski boots, skis and helmet. after putting on my ski boots, I went outside to meet the instructors. soon enough, we were heading over to the hills. surprisingly, I didn’t fall over going down the hill.
our morning lesson went by really fast. to recap, we basically went down the magic carpet working on various skills. during lunch, I sat with friends and talked about our day. after lunch, we once again went down the magic carpet. by the tenth round, I felt like doing another run. our instructor said to go down a few more times. to be honest, I felt like we would never go down another run and just stay at the same one the whole time. on the thirteenth run, we finally went on another run! i was so excited and happy. surprisingly, i survived. actually skiing is really fun and I’m really happy we decided to go on this fieldtrip.

Skiing is a really fun sport that gets you excited! The wind in your face as your rushing down the slopes with a happy look on your face, that look of excitement as you ski!

The first day of skiing started on a good note. I got to school around 7:40 and the rest of the people in my car arrived shortly after. The people in my car were Krystelle, Ethel, Megan, and Stephen. All of us were chatting so loud as we walked to my car. When we got in we started to watch on the tv in my car for 57 minutes. Basically we watched until we arrived at our destination.

We went inside, got our name tag/ pass for skiing, grabbed our ski shoes then lined up for helmets and skis. After getting prepared and ready, we went outside and went into separate groups. I was a beginner and went with one of the beginner groups.

Our teacher, first took us to the “bunny slopes” (I think that’s what they are called) and she taught us how to ski with one ski each by itself while going around in circles. Then with both skis. After that she laid this long black carpet that went from the bottom of the slope, to the top. Our instructor told us to do side steps up the carpet until we got to the top.

We went skiing down that slope for a while, learning how to do the “pizza” down the slope to slow down our speed, and how doing “French fries” would increase our speed. After getting comfortable with all of the basics so far, Our instructor announced it was lunch time so went inside and ate our lunch. I ate my turkey wrap super fast (totally) then went outside with Seon back to our instructor.

The moment I had been waiting for! I was excited to go down the higher slope. Our instructor made us go down the long slope slowly. We didn’t go from the top all the way to the bottom first. We went down the first part of the slope then stopped, then the next, and the next, until we got to the bottom. We did this 1 more time, going slowly down the slope, until our instructor let us go down the slope one more time. This time, we could go all the way down from where we were standing if we wanted, without stopping! My exact words were “I’m all fired up!!” I went down the whole slope, my heart racing, my speed slowly increasing, then before I knew it, I was at the bottom.

At the bottom, I saw a tired Nick, laying on the floor. I couldn’t help but laugh. I went up the magic carpet and waited for my instructors instructions. I was super sad because it was the end of our fun day of skiing. We headed back all smiling and laughing! Me and seon were busy chatting about how much fun we had!

I putted away my equipment and got ready to go home. I gathered Ethel, Krystelle, Stephen, and Megan into my car and we all watched a movie while eating Doritos, BBQ pork buns, and cookies. We got to school, texted Mr.Hong, then dropped everyone off home.

In conclusion, that day I learned how to ski, had an amazing experience, had lots of fun with friends, and ate a delicious turkey wrap with fries!

Chatter chatter chatter, that's the sound of all the happy students arriving at school by 7:40. Today, was the day everyone had been waiting for Skiing! It took an hour for us to arrive, but nobody seemed to mind since everyone got to go with their friends on the drive their.
As soon as we got to the mountain, me and my friends we'rent sure where to go, but then we remembered we we're meeting up in the grill.
Once we all met, we headed to the rental area and placed our bags down and put on all our gear, we headed outside and separated by which level you were. Sine I was level 1, I went with my instructor Terizza ( don't know she spelt it ) In my group was Ruby, Kystelle, Denise, Isabelle, Mi, Emma and Charlie. Which I was fine with because they're all very nice.
Next was the best part, we went skiing of course! For the beginners we first went to the bunny hill, which was I guess our practice area to get to know the basics which we're to stop you do a pizza, to move left or right put more wight into the opposite leg and so on. After practising we had lunch which was nothing special so I'll just skip lunch. After eating lunch, we met up with our instructor and went to a different hill to practice doing pizza and to move left and right. After a few practices we went to the magic carpet ride. The carpet ride was fun but also terrifying since we went up and you could easily roll backwards.
Once the day was over, we gathered up into the rental area putting our stuff away and driving away. Overall Skiing was super fun! I learned a lot and I was glad that I had friends with me to experience skiing for the first time with me, and I'm so glad I could come to this fun field trip.

Boom, the sunlight shines through my window and hits my face like a rock. Sitting up after being blinded by the light, I move away from the light by getting off my bed. As soon as I do, I go to use the bathroom and brighten up, wash my face with sink water, dry my face with a towel and run down the stairs, get breakfast.

After that, I walk back up the stairs, grab my laptop and open up Blitz. And as a normal child would, immediately start to play the games. After a few hours, I go and eat lunch at Sushi King House on Grandville. Lunch was great, had some green salad and sushi. After that I had a really good game in Blitz, I got 6 kills along with a masters badge, with a friend his name is Jeremy. And then it is dinner. That game is most likely what made my day.

And that's how my day went, and in the evening I had the same schedule as in the morning, and it went pretty well.

When we did Mi and I jumped into the back and we were off. When we finally reached Seymour Mountain we waited in a room then got our ski boots, helmet, and skis on. We started on a hill that helped us learn the basics of skiing. We learned how to ski down a hill pizza (stop) and get up a hill. Then we took a break and went to lunch. We went back out and this time we went out to a bigger hill to make more of a challange. overall I thought it was an amazing field trip and Icant wait to go next week.

Beep-beep, Beep-beep, Beep-beep. That's the noise from my alarm so I turned it off because it was annoying and I wanted to sleep more.

Suddenly, my mom comes in my room and slaps me to wake me up! Well that's because the only way to wake me up is to slap me. Anyways, I woke up and I looked at my clock and I'm like "Oh shoot! I'm going to be late for the field trip!", so I hurried and the time I left my house was 8:40 something! My mom yelled "Run to school! You'll be late!", so I did and I was thinking that everyone left already. When I got to school I heard people talking in the gym, so I went in and I was relieved that I wasn't late. When we arrived at Mt Seymour we got our ski/snowboard boots and our skies/snowboards. After, we split up into groups and started the lesson. When I was doing curves I kept on falling, but on the other hand Ty was doing perfect. Then it was lunch and I was glad it was because I was starving.

After lunch, we went to larger slopes where you take the lift up to the top of the slope and it took a while getting up there. It was scary going down the slope at first, but I got used to it so I started doing curves again. It was a fun time snowboarding and I can't wait to go again.

Then we took a break and went to lunch.When we went back out we got our skis back on and were walking to a bigger hill that for me was the most fun and interesting part of the field trip. There we learned how to turn and played go go stop down a mountain. In conclusion I thought it was an amazing field trip and I cannot wait to go skiing next week.

Seymour because unfortunately the price to go up there was too expensive and not safe. As I got up, I turn off my alarm and went back to sleep from another 30 more minutes. Then I woke up from the loud noise from my dogs. I knew I was already a little bit late but I could get ready in about less than 5 minutes. Blah-Blah-Blah, daily morning routine but when I finished breakfast, I thought my mom was ready but she was still in bed! So unfortunately I waited 20 minutes for her and when I got to school, I was 20 minutes late.

When I arrived in Ms. Sprintzios class, I barged into the empty class room next door which was my classroom to get some work to do. Blah- blah- blah, I did the work and then it was done so I went to get more work. After that I went out for recess and talked to Vida. We had fun laughing on how she kept on 'dying'. After the bell rang and I went off to do some more work. Sadly I didn't have the criteria for the pastel landscape so I just did like a practice-practice one. Then I went out for lunch and some stupid grade 7s forgot to find subs for lunch monitoring so I had to fill in. There were 3 classes who needed a lunch monitor. I chose the kindergarten class because they were the youngest. After I went out and hanged out with Saeo, Dylan, and Trever. Yadee-yada, we came back to class and did more work but at the end of the day they had gym and I had to come along. At gym, we did shooting drills like the one we did one Sports Day.

At 3 O'clock I went to meet up with my grandma to drive me home because there was no one else to walk with. When we got back home, I did my afternoon routine which involves me snacks, showers, YouTube, video games, and obviously dinner. At night I just slept like a normal human being. Goodnight to the human who is currently reading my PAR.

DING- DONG- DING- DONG!!!The sound of bells seem to be coming from my phone. This wonderful morning in Vancouver Bc, the majority of grade 7s in Mr. Hong and Mr. Fishers class were already in the gym. You may ask, "Are you late for school! You're going to Mt. When my day started, I almost feel asleep when I was in my car to go to school. I woke up extra early because my class had to go to ski school. At first I was really happy, but the day went from bad to worse. First the car ride was really long, and most of it was spiraling up the mountain. At the end, I was really dizzy and had a headache. Then after I dressed up in my snowboarding cloths, I could not move. One reason was that my parents say that I need the extra thick pants and jacket, so it was really puffy. Another reason is that my mom says it should where the set for ten year old children because she wants it tight. I could barely even breath. Next we put on the boot for snowboarding, they were really tight so my ankles can't move. That means I can't bend down. Finally, the moment has come, we put on our snowboards and got ready for lessons. Even that was boring. From that time to lunch we only learned how to stop. When we had lunch, the food was not that good, but I ate it anyways. And after that, we learned how to stop backwards. That was pretty much all we learned. When it was time to go home, it was repeat from the car ride, long and painful. After we got to school, I had to walk home, and by the time I got home, I pretty much went straight to bed, until I had to go play my table tennis tournament. I could barley play, but somehow still won everybody. That's pretty much how that day went, to describe it with one word I would use "exhaustion"

Are you applying to any mini schools? Well I applied to a mini school that needs a test to be able to join, and I took the test but unfortunately it was on the same day as our skiing trip.

When I woke up I just relaxed since I had gotten a lot of sleep and woke up pretty late. Then I had my lunch then the test. I was nervous going to the test since I'm applying to a mini school I want to get into. The test was pretty simple you just had to sit down and draw the objects on the table you we're assigned to but you could only use oil pastels and watercplour to create your art, and you only get 45-60 minutes for the test since many students are applying and hey have limited time. After the test we went shopping and I bargained my way out of going to kumon but I had to clean my room I'm exchange. Then I basically relaxed for the rest of the day and didnt do anything special.

That was my day during the ski trip and afterwards and even though I missed the ski trip it was a fun day for me.

Since I was bored and had to do kumon after the shopping I decided to bargain my way out of going to kumon and it worked, but I had to clean my room I'm exchange. After that I basically relaxed for the rest of the day and didnt do anything special.

That was my day during the ski trip and afterwards and even though I missed the ski trip it was a fun day for me.
