1.) CARDBOARD CHALLENGE: Bring any materials you need for your creation.

2.) SCIENCE: Complete Birth/Death of a star handout if you haven't already done so. Use the two slideshow links at the top of your handout and the back of the page (2 paragraphs)

3.) MATH: Qu #1-4, 6, and 8.

4.) POST A RESPONSE:
- In paragraph form (introduction, supporting sentences/examples/quotes/statistics, conclusion) explain what 'RESPECT' looks like at school, at home, and the community.
- Give 2 students suggestions and/or questions about the response.
- Edit/revise your original post.

Respect should be done everywhere.
At school, you should respect the teachers, staffs, and classmates. Don't touch anything that isn't yours. And don't take other peoples stuff without permission. Always follow the R.O.L.E.S. Don't make the staffs and teachers have a hard time at school. Treat them properly and don't argue with them. And at home, you should help your parents do the chores. Doing your homework is respectful too. And finally, he community. Always follow the R.O.L.E.S. Greet people nicely, and make way for them in the sidewalk.

What Respect Should Look Like

Respect is very important for life. Without it you wouldn't get far in life. Respect looks like someone saying thank you after something or saying hello when you meet someone you recognize. Being respectful will get you new friends imagine a grumpy guy who looks as if he fell of a cliff. Chances of him having at lest 3 friends, are low.

Things That Are Disrespectful

Disrespect is very bad. You should never give anyone disrespect unless if they disrespect you. Disrespecting is like calling someone a bad word when they did nothing to you.

Respect is something that shouldn't be shown just at home
You have to show respect when your in school too and when your not at school or home. How your supposed to act around people is respectful you have to show respect to staff members to teacher you just have to show respect because if your not respectful you probably won't get anywhere in life.

Respect, respect means a lot of things, for an example, respect means care and take responsibility, and be kind to others. At home, respect looks like caring for your family and home. At School, respect means help classmates out, the R.O.L.E.S, and caring for our environment. The community is really important to Respect. if we don't respect the community, for an example, if we don't clean up or help each other out, there would be nothing left, everyone would be rude to one another and the whole world will reek and no one will want to come to our city.

At School
-Respect at school looks like helping others that needs it and NOT TALKING WHEN THE TEACHER IS NOT IN THE ROOM (cough cough specific people cough cough).

At Home
-Respect at home looks like listening to your parent and not causing an argument about something with your parents and not ignoring you parents.

In the community
-Respect in the community looks like not littering and staying happy and making others happy as well.

Respect is showing peace and kindness to others and yourself.

RESPECT

Respect at home : means showing your parents that you can follow their rules act how you are supposed to be acting

Respect at school : you know that you must abide the rules also when you go out of school bounds ( on field trips )

Respect in your community : looks like helping others , friendliness , showing kindness and appreciation ( also sometimes it's ok to not help if you help too much or stuff like that )

Respect is not something that you get get or make,it is something that you can achieve or accomplish.Etc,when your at home and you listen to your mom and dad they will respect that you listened to them.Etc,When your at school in a classroom you won't be yelled My or trying to talk,you should be respecting the teacher,then the teacher will respect you back.Etc,when you pick up garbage in the community that wasn't yours,it means that you respect the environment and all the other people will respect that you helped the community.

At school, you should at least pay attention to the teacher and do the work when the teacher say so.

At home, you need to listen and do what your parents told you. You shouldn't also talk back to them.

In this community, maybe you can help sorting out some recyclables materials or maybe donate some stuff.
