Along the same theme of business education, we discussed about the stock market, stock prices, and trading stocks in math. Students were intrigued, and asked many excellent questions about factors that influence the stock market. We will be practicing virtual stock trading, and using it as a platform for decimal calculations.
1.) MATH 6- For Monday: Research 5 companies you want to invest in. For each company, write down the following information in a Google spreadsheet:
a.) The name and 'ticker' symbol of the company.
b.) The open price and the closing price of the company for December 6th and for December 7th.
c.) Ensure that all the information is organized! You should have a separate column for the company name, ticker symbol, date, open price, and closing price. You need this Google Document (Spreadsheet) ready on Monday!

2.) POST A RESPONSE- Remember to follow the criteria and complete.
a.) Write a response about the video below: 1) Do you think the video is biased or unbiased? Why? Ask yourself - Who made the video? What is the message it is promoting? Does it give both sides of the story? How can I find this information? 2) Did your opinion about the pipeline change after watching the video? If not, why? If so, how has it changed? 3) Summarize your current opinion on the pipeline issue. (2-3 sentences)
b.) Ask a quality question to one other student (who has not been asked a question yet)
c.) Respond to the question that someone has asked you
