In math, students ventured around the school to measure the dimensions of 3D rectangular objects, and then found the area, perimeter, and volume of these objects. They were engaged and hard at work!
Continuing with their speeches, students discussed about strategies for making good conclusions and ending their speech strong.
1.) MATH 6/7: Finish the calculations for area/perimeter/volume for the 3 objects that you measured in class today (if you have not finished it already).
2.) LA: Finish your first draft of your speech if you haven't already done so.
3.) WRITE A RESPONSE #1: Read chapters 5 to 7 (p. 32-55).
- Post 3 total words from tonight's reading assignment and their definitions in your own words.
- Post 2 powerful questions that you came up with.
- Respond to 2 questions your classmates posted and get the conversation going! Do exactly the same thing you did yesterday!
4.) WRITE A RESPONSE #2:
- Go back to yesterday's "Write a Response" and read the answers others have posted for your question
- Answer any other questions that others have posted for you.
