REFLECTING ON HIS LEARNING

BLURB TO BE UPDATED BY THE STUDENT EDITOR.

1.) MATH 6: Any assigned work.
MATH 7: Worksheet 4.4 and Pg 165, # 1,4, 9, and 10.
Mark all questions with the answers in the back of your
textbook before Monday.

2.) ART: If you want any colour in your mosaics, bring some coloured tiles to school tomorrow.

3.) POST A RESPONSE:

Write a concluding paragraph for your persuasive essay.
Be sure to restate your thesis statement (topic and 3 points) in a creative way.
You need a good 'CLINCHER' that leaves your audience wondering about your topic and your opinion.
Comment and ask questions about at least 1 other students concluding paragraph.

In conclusion, If all students were allowed to bring phones and devices to school, there wouldn't be lost assignments, you wouldn't waste as much paper, and kids could contact family/people from school. I believe children should be able to have fun memories from school, instead of getting phones taken away,

Try to make your conclusion more powerful. Instead of say "Now you know why I think abortions should be illegal...ect." To put some thing more power by putting in word like, "that", "believe", ect. Good Job overall!

To sum it all up I believe we should have school uniforms because, girls are wearing booty shorts, they show that you are in a group, and it is easier to get ready in the morning. How would you like to see kids is inappropriate cloths in every school???

So now to refresh your memory letter grades should be replaced because, they are way less precise to show what you know and or don't know, most students stress over them way too much and that they seem to be the main focus when kids are studying. And by this I mean that they focus too much on the grade and learn less.

Maybe think of a different thing to say other than "All in all" Because that does not sound like something someone would like to read because just saying it makes me think of the Movie "Cars 2" with the oil. Also when saying it you would need something more scientific like along the lines of a transition word.

My 3 main points were that the grades do not mean or state anything, school is supposed to be about learning new things, and it gives way too much stress. Opinion:
Kids should be required an amount of volunteer hours to graduate Elementary School.

Conclusion:
I truly believe that this could help kids get a head start on work, can help shelters and other places thrive, and can make our country less obese and lazy. I think every kid should volunteer. So what are you waiting for?

To conclude, Kids should be more healthy by exercising more and eating healthy more. When ever you eat you have to be full not starving or you wont have energy. You would need to eat protiens like Vegetables, vitamins, meat, milk, and other kinds of healthy stuff. The most thing I think is important to be healthy is water. It makes you not dehydrated and it keeps you going.

To sum it all up, I think kids should get at least 60 minutes of physical activity everyday. I think this because kids spend too much time on electronics, not enough exercise leads to obesity, and exercise makes you happy. About how much time do you spend being active in a day?

INTRO PARAGRAPH
"Oh hey Devin did you see that boy over there, he is so fat." Do you really want to be the one hearing this? Do you want to be the one that people are calling ugly, fat, disgusting, weird and other stuff? I don't think so. I think that in elementary school and high school teasing and making fun of other people has become too common. This is wrong because kids feel left out, try too hard to fit in, and can be ostracized.

CONCLUSION PARAGRAPH
In conclusion I think that if all this teasing dies down and people stop doing that, we will have a really awesome environment for kids to live in without having to try to hard to fit in. Or feel left out or ostracized. Please try and make your community a better place by being nice to people and to encourage your kids to do that to.
