This makes me feel like how i was last year. I dident want to go out side
Because i hade no one to play with so i always stayed in. And after a year
i know why i hade no one to play with out side, cause people where saying i was meteally challaged and dont hang out with him.
It got to the point i dident want to go to school eneymore or go near school cause whenever i was there i very sad and deperesed so if a hade to go outside i just hid some were so know one maked fun of me and stuff. I think the big idea is not to judge people by there looks and way the act cause where all human beaings. Yeah we have are diffrent but that dosent mean we have to bully each other. The video makes me feel a little sad.

The big idea is about bullying. The person who was saying this speech was bullied and wanted to help others and said, "We are not the only ones." That is true, there are many bullies out there STILL hurting others. This made me feel angry, depressed, sad, and emotional because He was bullied and i have been bullied too. Bullying hurts in a way that you can't put up with it anymore.

The big idea was about bullying. Shane Koyczan Made an speech that was heartbreaking and about bullying. He said a lot of strong words, like "We are not the only ones." That is true too, there are many bullies out there STILL bullying others and making them feel like they are ugly, stupid, weird, mean, and dumb. This speech made me feel angry because all the bullies i have encountered are probably still bullying others. I don't want that to happen to any of my friends or classmates. It also made me feel sad, emotional, and depressed because i remember when i was 10 and i was so nice to everyone, but then they started to bully me, and my friends. Bullying hurts way more than you think, the victim might look fine after, but sometimes, they could be crying themselves to sleep, not wanting to go to school.

This makes me think of someone who always puts people down by roasting them and it could hurt someone but to me it doesn't hurt because I know he's doing this so he could be cool but he's not the To This Day video gave my a lot of connections about how the kids he's roasting must feel, it hurts because why would you roast someone what do you get, do you like hurting others even if you know they are your friends always treat people the way you want to be treated because would you like if someone made funny of your friend because his hairline or something you don't like about him,don't let someone hurt you tell a adult or a teacher because they care about you

to me the big idea is that you should never judge someone by the way they look but by the way the act.
as a kid i wasn't very popular and i used to get bullied i had and still have depression it sometimes really hurts and at night i get drowned by my own thoughts and i cry myself to sleep.
this video makes me feel happy and sad because that girl they made fun of probably has a better life than them now and it means im nt the only one that has been judge.
it makes me sad that the fact people in this world think its ok to judge someone by their appearance.
so the girl they made fun of proves you should NEVER make someone feel down by the way they look treat people by the way you would like to be treated instead of making a negative chain reaction make a positive.
you shouldn't judge anyone because no one is perfect not everyone likes that feeling of being called names.
not everyone can change there appearance. everyone is unique in their own ways.

I remember a time when I got bullied by a kid,its not fun but you just have to deal with it and also a few days ago my friend talked behind my back because I was not doing good at basketball.

to me this does not make that much sense because where was his
family at the time he was getting bullied? Also where was the principle or the counsellor?

My persanal connection was when i was back at Captain Cook Elementary School, i had one friend named Bill. I was his only friend and he was really smart and always bullied by everyone at lunch. I made friends with him when my friend went on vacation. And so Bill moved schools.

I think the big idea is that we should stop bullying and don't call people names. i think this bugged the guy because he was called names , but in my case when my friend Wendell first called me Peanut I was fine and people still call me Peanut but I like the nickname , so I'm fine with it. this video we just watched kinda made me sad. It also made me feel bad for him. I also imagine that he felt very sad. I think because he was called names and stuff he wanted to commit suicide. i also think this because he was talking about suicide when it showed a guy jump into water. i have felt like this guy I think once I was called ugly and I felt like I wasn't aloud by him because i kept calling me ugly and i wanted to suicide.

You have to believe that they are wrong!
That sentence really gives me hope because a lot of people in this class are mean to me to no end. The main idea I believe is to believe all the haters,bullies, and jerks are wrong and you should stand your ground. I get bullied every day by my sister and I hate it and I don't stand my ground because I'm scared. Scared that I will get in trouble because my sister gets the fame and the love by my parents.

This video makes me feel sad and hopeful. I am not also safe at school since people still make fun of me. I never stand and fight back because I'm scared here to. I am scared everywhere since bullies and jerks can leark around every corner. I believe the reason that some kids are jerk is because of they're parents being jerks to others so they're like "Oh its ok to do that since my family does it" but no. I don't fight or run I just deal with the pain since I know that makes me more resistant to them since it easier to rage and snap at the person.

Here is a story about me getting bullied.
In third grade this person [ I forgot his name]
so lets call him harman [since I don't like the name Harman :/ sorry to all the Harmans] Anyways Harman would be a jerk and move my chair , Steal my pencils, call me name and the worst thing he did was beat me up. Nobody cared since my parents didn't believe me, the teachers didn't believe me and the kids didn't care! People are jerks if you allow them. These kids only care about themselves that what I though. I believe they were selfish and only cared about themselves. Thats how most people since most people only care about they're needs. Everywhere you go they're will be at least 1 bully so try to make them stop.

This man has done a good job at explaining what bullying is like so you should never do it. Bullying is bad in every way possible and you have to believe that they were wrong erase is a VERY powerful erase.

I think the the big idea for to this day is never let anything that people say let you down and stop saying names to people. He said people always called him pork chops and that hurt him a lot. I remembered I knew someone who was getting made fun of before. He once told me "why don't they stop calling me names."I told him did you tell a teacher and he said no. Then we told a teacher and they stopped calling him names. I know how it feels once I've been called names, but it was only for one day and he told me it was a joke the day after. For the day he told me it made me sad and depressed.

BIG IDEA

I feel that the big idea of this message/video was that we should treat others with respect, care, and kindness because we may not look the same but internally we are all people and have the same color blood and we are all the same inside.

My connections to this message is that i have been bullied before, by my weight, the way i look, and the things that i have thats why i joined football to lose weight for people to stop mistreating me and making me feel like im not a regular person like them.

This video does make me sad because he is speaking the truth. there are kids out there still making fun of other people just because of the way that they look, or what they wear which shouldn't matter because no one is perfect.

When he was saying that the girl he met in grade 3 that he liked was called ugly lead her in a state of depression and that they didnt go outside, they were moved to the back of the class, and that the hallways were a battlefield because of all the kids, and outside was even worse.

Bullying needs to stop because no one is perfect, no one is the same, we are all equal, and judging someone else just makes you the mean one, but most bullies have reasons and im not saying that its a good reason but most feel self conscious about themselves so they make others feel bad and some get mistreated at home so that leads them in a state of anger, depression, and repeatation, and what i mean by that is that they wont stop because they feel that they need everyone else to know how they feel.

1.) The big idea was a overweighted man who talked about how he was bullied encouraging you to make you feel better than those bullies.

2.) I had a personal connection during the video it made me bring back horrible memories of me being bullied last year by the grade 6s and it was NOT a great experience.

3.) This video kind of made me emotional because of the music and the voice acting the man did. It was about to make me cry but I held it in.

4.) Pork chop. At the start of the video he mentioned how he thought karate chops and pork chops were the same his grandma thought it was cute so she went along with it. after a few days he climbed on a tree realizing climbing trees weren't meant for fat kids. So he fell of the tree and had a big bruise on the side of his stomach. A few weeks later he was at P.E. class and his P.E. Teacher noticed the boys big bruise so he sent him to the office, in the office was a kind nurse sitting on her chair working when she came in she asked

,"how did you get that bruise?"

"I feel off a tree while climbing it."
He replied.

So then they called his grandma and she was informed about it. They even heard her call her son Pork chop. After that incident gossips were spreading and thats how he earned his nickname pork chop. It was very sad for me.

5.) "They were wrong!' This was a line from the video meaning that those bullies that called you names were wrong and you look or are the way you are. It is a very powerful sentence to me.

The big idea of To This Day is about bullying. Its about how people were bullied, being called names, and which made they're lives worse. It lead them to drugs, alcohol, skipping school, and committing suicide. I was bullied once too. Actually, I was bulled a lot of times. But it was a long time ago. I also got bullied in social media's. When I was in grade 3, there was this boy who used to bully me. Whenever he's near, I could always see him showing me that fist. I ignored him because I thought he was just joking around. But it got worser and worser each day. He would talk about how I was a loser, and I was lame, and he used to say I was stupid too. But there was this little something he did that REALLY bothered me from all that he did. He started bullying my best friend just because she was hanging out with me. I yelled at him. I told him to stop, and not blame other people just because that person hangs out with me. After all of that, I told the teacher. It turned out that he's mom actually died. I said sorry for yelling at him, and he said sorry for bullying me. The video made me sad. Because, you can't just tease people for what they look like, or how they act. Also, you can't just use people and pretend that you're their friend but actually just using them for certain things. At the part of the video, when he was called pork chop, it was really sad. It might not sound like its serious, and its just a tiny little things, its still big. Small things can be big too. So, it might've lead him to committing suicide. I think the message of the video is that you should'n't bully people by how they look like or how they act.

I think the big idea is that to is day kids are getting bulled and you should never let that effect your life i have been throw this and i know how it feels its very sad that kids still get called names because of how they look like or where there are from or which religion they follow and i dont get why every body is the same i know how it feels when someone says something racist you feel so bad that next time someone asks where you are from you say somewhere that you dont live in just so you dont get bulled by people i know people that have lied just so they dont get bulled my family members have done it but they still get bulled one of my worst things i have been throw is when i was played a game we someone asked me where i was from i said afghanistan first he said something very racist then i got blocked just cut i was from afghanistan because of that when i joined a next game we were talking again with someone random he asked me where i was from i said india he never said anything that was very sad people see some people by the where they are from that is very sad.

I think the the big idea for " To This Day " video is to not call other people nicknames and not make fun of someone. If they what you to call him/her that name, that is fine, but if they don't then do not call him /her that name. I know how the creator feels, because I was made fun of. When I moved to Surrey, people made of me, everyday I go to school at least one person say " you are very bad at soccer. People also called me the soccer noob. I started to hate school, I made lies like I'm sick. Because of this I know what the creator of this video feel. I think the authors message in the video is to not bully or tease people.

I think the big idea is not to give up and not to judge other people by how they look. When he said, "Look at the mirror, look a little closer..." I was hit by those words like a train just went through me. I made a connection when I was looking at my mirror thinking of how my face looks and other things that I found imperfect. I was also wondering if there is something good inside of me... even though I know I don't have any of those. Those beautiful words in the "To This Day" video, he inspired me not to give up and work hard on making my dreams come true and not think about how I look like. Because this is me and I am Xaviery. I shouldn't change myself for who I'm not because I learned my lesson. I guess.

The big idea is not to bully others and not to give up. When I watched this video again, I feel like a train just went through me and heaviness of pain and sorrow slowly took over me. Those beautiful sad words in his poem was making me feel emotional even though I watched it for the 4th time now...

Some kids these days have been bullying other kids that they think they're weak. They shouldn't have done that to their own same kind. We're all equal and we all are humans who can feel pain. Even though "stick and stones may break my bones", "words will never hurt me" of course it does. Words hurts us. They're powerful and it'll definitely be one of those scars that can't be removed.

"And if you can't see anything beautiful of yourself, get a better mirror. Look a little closer. Stare a little longer. Because there's something inside you that makes you keep trying despite everyone told you to quit. You built a cast around your broken heart and signed it yourself. You signed, 'They were wrong!'"

When he said that, it reminded me of myself. Me looking at the mirror saying, "I'm ugly. I'm also really bad at art." I wasn't good enough. I was facing the negative path that time of my life. I know looks are not everything and I almost gave up on my art. But still, I'm jealous. Why am I not the same as them? Maybe there's something wrong with me...

I feel like I was still a caterpillar. A young one not knowing everything in my world yet. There are still a lot of things I don't know. So I shouldn't give up. Face my fears head on and continue on my journey of art. Dreaming someday I'll be one of those beautiful butterflies flapping their patterned wings in the air.

to this day project :

i think this very powerful because i know what it feels like to be called names i was called names since the first day of grade 2 or 3
i'm not going to say the names i was called but since then i always closed up i started saying the same names to other people because i thought it was something everyone does and i shouldn't feel this way because it's normal and when i started getting bullied again in other grades i closed up i sat in the back of the class and i stopped working hard i started to stop hanging out with my friends i (metaphorically speaking ) fell and almost never got back up and when i realized i was doing the same thing to other kids that was happening to me so i appologized but i always felt like i need to do more to stop bullies because i knew what it felt like i slipped off the face of the earth after what i realized i always felt like i needed to be normal and i needed to be competitive like almost everyone else and i thought if i acted like the real me no one would like me i would be a loner a kid who never really mixed in with the rest of the class and i know this just sounds like a sob story but this is not the worst that could happen kids get threatened everyday and its as easy as pressing a button on a screen now some kids don't know they're being bullied or being THE bullie i use to just take it never stand up and my cousin stood up for me so we stood together it was just us against the world and so we stuck together never let anyone else in so soon enough we seperated because she left to another state and so i joined this group and always felt like i needed to be nice listen to everything they say and i started acting like myself and they did not reject me they accepted me they trusted me they were my friends but then all of a sudden i changed schools and i was an outsider all over again and made new friends so i try to help anyone who gets bullied and so yeah i've already got really personal so i'm going to stop here .

Big Idea
The big idea is to not call names or bully by looks because you see that it doesn't seem to hurt them but it hurts because there being called something they do not like or want and also stand up for yourself don't let it happen more than once because other people might start doing and they will think it's fine.

My Personal Connection
My personal connection is that when I fail at something, it get spread around and then they can talk about more than a week and something people look down on me sometimes for what I can't do.

How I felt when I Saw This
This video makes me depressed and sad because it's not fine being called something or being bullied by something you don't know but others do.

Example
This like when I saw my favourite youtuber do a try not to grin/laugh challenge, he found a video that a person said to someone that he thinks her friends don't care about her then she poured coke all over him and all the teenagers came all together and surround him and started laughing and pointing at him. After when he was trying to clean himself people came up and poured more drinks onto him and one person threw ice-cream and started laughing. This reminds me of "To This Day" because they make fun of him because of something they heard pr saw and it spread also more people started doing it.

the big idea to me is about how people should think before they speak. But not every one thinks before they speak only because you are different then others they think you are a monster. But the truth is that no ones the same everyones special in there own way no ones that same in this world.

personal connection

well this connection is not about me but i know the person this happened to she was actual bullied because she had her up in a braid but it was not her fault they also picked on because of tall she was she was really sad. But she changed she was more confident in her self and she didn't care what people said about her she is really strong.

how it made me feel

this video make me sad because people around the world get picked on all the time but theres all ways a light at the end of a tunnel.

(How to measure reflex angles.)

step #1) First, draw the bottom ray longer ( on the other side of the vertex)

step #2) Next, you measure the other ray you drew.

step #3) Finally you calculate the angle you got with 180 degrees.(etc. 65+180)

I had a hard time explaining this.

How to measure Reflex Angels
=================================
Step (1) Grab a protractor and line the long ling of the protractor on ONE of the rays. Make sure the center of the long line of the protractor is inline with the vortex.

Step (2) Flip the protractor (or not) to the side that doesn't have a half circle touching the rays.

Step (3) Measure the angel and write it down on a piece of paper.

Step (4) Add 180 to the sum of step 3 and add a degrees simble to it.

Step 1: Grab a protractor and get a reflex angle.

Step 2: Draw an imaginary line across the vertex where its 180 degrees on one of the rays. then make that ray you drew an obtuse angle connecting to the middle ray.

Step 3: measure the obtuse angle and get the answer. then add 180 + (your answer.) = your reflex angle answer.

Step 1: You need a protractor to measure.

Step 2: Make sure the center of the protractor is on the vertex of the angle.

Step 3: Make a line from the protractor through the middle and measure the inside of the angle.

Step 4: Then you subtract 360 from the measure of the angle then you got your answer.

Step 1 put the middle on the vertex.

Step 2 because my protractor is 360 degrees it also has a arrow you can spin around and I put the 0 line on the bottom right line of a reflex angle. than grab the arrow and put it to the other line and what ever the arrow points to thats the answer
