TUESDAY: How Wolves Change Rivers

Today, we discussed our classroom economy and the effect of printing off more money in our economy. We used the example of the Chinese government and how they increased the supply of the Chinese Yuan (dollar). Printing off more money will decrease the actual value of it. For example, a $10 Hong bucks may allow you to purchase a pack of gummy bears today. If Mr. Hong printed off more Hong bucks tomorrow and distributed them to the students, the actual value of the Hong bucks would decrease. This would in turn cause the prices of products to increase. Your purchasing power would decrease. Your $10 Hong bucks would not be able to buy that bag of gummy bears anymore. This is called 'INFLATION'. This led us onto the topic of ecosystems and the effect of adding or removing an organism from an ecosystem. We watched and discussed what would happen in this situation. In your comment, be sure to use different tools that you may not have used before. Make sure you are experimenting with different tools today. Feel free to create a Halloween themed image if you like.
Give a positive comment and suggestion to at least one other student
Share anything cool that you have learned over the last few days.

@ Cupcake - Review the video that was posted yesterday. Also, you an do this:

1.) Save your image from Picmonkey to your computer.
2.) Log into Google Drive
3.) Click on the red button on the left that says 'NEW'
4.) Create a new folder called 'PHOTOGRAPHY'
5.) Click on the folder in your list of your folders.
6.) Click on the 'NEW' button again and click on upload file.
7.) Click on your image that you have saved on your computer and upload it to your Photography folder. Alternatively, you can drag and drop your picture from your computer to your photography folder.

I changed the color tones like the brightness the contrasts and added this cool affect to make the shadows pop.

I used a picture of Taylor Swift, and turned her into a witch using the Halloween effects. There is a Vampire, Zombie, Day of the Dead, Witch, and Demon effects. They are all great, so I used a bit of all of them. I also used a new shadow frame that is orange and purple. Pic Monkey is AWESOME!!!!

When I went onto the pic monkey app I...Firstly I changed the colors by I changed the saturation to 56% and I changed the temperature to 100%.
Next I went to change the sharpness to do that I left the sharpness to 0% and changed the clarity to 66%.
Finaly I went to the re-sized and changed that to 7777 to 7797. To see my photo go to http://mrk.ee/p/HtnmOKh8VU

Today was my first time using Pic Monkey and I think that it is a really good editing website. I think all the textures were really cool and using the different elements to a photo. For example shadow and contrast were my two favorites and another one cool thing was the rotating thing. One simple one that I found pretty cool was cropping. Cropping was a big thing for me because at first my photo was to small so cropping help a lot. One thing that made a big difference was clarity and sharpen because if that weren't there then my picture wouldn't look like it is right now.

Today I decided to use Pixlr because I have been doing a lot of PicMonkey and I wanted to give Pixlr try.

First I went to Pixlr and I uploaded an image of a wooden staircase

I used the effect button and too old option with the Henry option.

Now it looks haunted and scary.

I used the Halloween button, I added blood stains, a zombie hand and a window.
