TUESDAY: On Your Mark....Get Set......Go!

We began the day with some sprinting practice, learning about the 3 phases of sprinting as well as about proper techniques to sprinting. Then, we had a "sprint challenge" between all the students- kudos to Amanda for her amazing speed and technique in sprinting.

We also enjoyed some very creative science presentations today from the groups that presented. Groups chose to showcase their learning about extreme environments via video, story, music, Prezi, drawings, images, and oral presentations.

Please remember to bring your field trip form and money!

- Do you plan on starting a program like Free The children in the future?

-How many slaves have you worked with? is it just that one? And do they have similar answers (eg. it is terrible I never want to go back)

I would ask her if the girl that lived in her neighbourhood lived a normal life and isn't a victim of child trafficking anymore.
Also I would ask her what her teacher told her about child trafficking.
And also how learning about child trafficking at an early age changed her life.
