Today, students learned about voting and the voting process. Mr. Bains had an excellent lesson and allowed students to collaborate on padlet. Students, feel free to go back to the PADLET and 'LIKE' any comments that you agreed with. Even the student who don't normally participate had an opportunity to do so. Afterwards, students participated in the 'STUDENT VOTE' and their decision was based on each of the major party's platform ideas on climate change. Later in the afternoon, students practiced using conversational French with Mr. Bains! Au revoir!
IMPORTANT:
1.) Be sure to have your parents sign up for a goal setting conference with you. Tell them to check their emails from a few days ago.

LEARNING:
1.) MATH: Complete, mark, and correct Pg 61-63.
2.) LA/READING/NOVEL APPROACH:
- Complete 'LET IT GO' visible thinking and graphic organizers if you didn't complete them in class.
3.) LA/WRITING:
- Continue brainstorming and create your pre-writing list for your scary short story.
- *For your scary short story, remember that your writing should also SOAR - write with a scary voice, but avoid descriptive details about violence and or death.
4.) UNFINISHED BUSINESS:
- Any unfinished/overdue work (Thanksgiving Meme, responding to 'OUR HOUSE IS ON FIRE', any unfinished Jump Math, colour wheel, etc.
