In addition to 'HUMAN RIGHTS', the grade 6 students continued researching sports statistics online and learned how to calculate percentages, ratios, decimals, and fractions using a Google Spreadsheet. It was amazing to see the amazing learning going on when they were able to see the connections between the wins, losses, overtime games, when compared to the total games played!
1.) MATH 6: Complete all worksheets for tomorrow (RATIOS).
MATH 7: Any assigned work.
2.) SOCIALS: Group activity must be completed for tomorrow. (Collaborative document on Google Drive) Most of the groups have already completed this.
3.) LA: Finish editing/revising your second draft of your essay based on the feedback you received. Your Essay assessment and peer feedback forms must be handed in with draft #1 and #2 tomorrow morning.
3.) SHOWCASED BLOG:
- Visit ATV BOY'S Learning Journey and leave HIM at least 4 comments (suggestions / feedback / questions)
4.) WRITE A RESPONSE:
- What are 2 specific examples of technology that you have access to that will allow you to teach others about human rights?
- How would you teach people about human rights using the examples you listed? BE SPECIFIC! Do your best not to repeat any examples that your classmates have already mentioned.
