Today you learned about the importance of respect, organization, collaboration, and communication.

1.) Show your parents how you will organize your work, communicate with your classmates, and collaborate using Google Drive.

2.) WRITE A RESPONSE: Based on what you saw and learned at the 'RESPECT' assembly today, give an example of how you should treat other people.

3.) FORMS - Bring all forms completed and signed by your parents.
- Personal information forms

You should treat other people with respect. In my opinion, treating people with respect means that you should be nice and fairly so you should treat them the way you should be treated.

You should treat others in the same way that you would like to be treated, for example if someone falls down help them up because if you fall you would also want to be helped up.

Respect is something the way that you treat them if I was walking around and someone accidently kicked a soccer ball and it hit me on the head and asked if I was ok and helped me up that is respect for others.

Respect is a way you should act towards people. If I was ever accidentally pushed to the ground and they didn't help, that would be a mistake or they just don't care which shows not much respect for one another.

Like if I saw someone who had fallen down and I went and helped them and took them to the office to get an ice pack cuz they hurt themselves that would be respectful.

Based on what I have learned today, I think you should treat others the way you want to be treated. I know this has already been said before, but this has deep meaning to me, because many people never think about this when they speak. People just act rude and disrespectful, like when the teacher is talking. Now I know we have done that in some point in our lives, but it makes your teacher feel disrespected. Imagine if you were performing your presentation in front of your ENTIRE class, and everyone just starts chatting. You would feel very disrespected, and that thought of "How come I am speaking, if no one even cares". I think you should always follow "The Golden Rule" whenever, and wherever.

Respect is treating others the way you want to be treated. Respect is listening (not just hearing) to the person who is talking. Respect is being friendly to everyone, even if there not your favorite person. Respect is not vandalizing other peoples belongings. That is what I think RESPECT is.

I learned if you show respect to your friends then they will treat you the same way with respect.

- Respect everyone's opinions.
- Listen to others when they talk.
- Don't put others on the spot.
- Treat others the way you want to be treated.
- Don't stereotype anyone.
- Respect everyone's cultures and their beliefs.
- Treat others property with respect.
- Always ask before burrowing others things.
- Do not be racist to others.
