An endangered species is a species of animal that is on the brink of extinction or complete annihilation. An example is a local animal the peregrine falcon because of housing development, which is getting rid of their nests.

My deep question is could people live together peacefully with the animals around them, and not disrupt the habitats and animals?

Captive Breeding Programs are for endangered species of animals. So what exactly what they are is scientist keep these endangered animals and try and get them to reproduce. They are trying to repopulate the endangered species, and then send them back into the wild. The babies animals that are born get absolutely no human contact, or extremely little, so that they can send them back.

~Well I wanted to choose 2 topics because I didnt get the one I wanted. :) ~

1.) Renewable Resource

A renewable resource is basically something that is naturally in the earth that we use over and over again and can never run out. For an example, (I researched some examples) you can use solar energy, like on those little lamp like objects that you put outside, and every time it gets dark outside they turn on.

2.) Threatened Species

Threatened species, (the name speaks for itself) are basically species of animals that are decreasing in population from us taking away their natural habitats, resulting in those certain species of animals to be at risk of extinction.

In the U.S.A in 1996, nearly 210 million tons were collected and disposed. We can decrease solid waste by reduce, reuse and recycle.

MY DEFINITION:
Basically, if something becomes extinct it means its species doesn’t physically exist anymore. Becoming extinct means that the very last one of whatever it was is gone, and will never physically return. If something is extinct it can't be found on earth any longer. Often times when people refer to things becoming "extinct" we are talking about species of animals. For example the Mammoths died out around 4,500 years ago, today there are none left in the world, so this is an extinct species.

QUESTION:
What could be the cause of something going extinct? It would have to be something pretty huge and most likely terrible to be able to wipe out an entire species of something. What sort of event could kill every last one of something on this planet? Maybe, it took a long time to get rid of this once living species, or maybe it happened fast. But, what could do such a thing?

selective harvisting means the process of cutting something down or destroying a habitat for a example if people cut down a bunch of trees and it will ruin a habitat for some animals. when they do this they will do nothing about it to replace it back and try and help out the animals that they hurt while doing this process. if selective harvisting wasnt around what do you think the world would be like
