1.) Read for 30 minutes.
2.) Science - All online research must be completed by tomorrow. BRING YOUR HARD COPIES (Print a copy of your research and bring it to school).
3.) Math 6 - Chapter 9 Lesson 2 (TEXT - Complete all questions).
MATH 7 - Pg 112-113 Questions 3,4,5,8,10, and 16.
4.)
- Hatchet quiz on Friday.
- Grade 6 Math quiz on Friday (Rounding up, rounding down, number lines, estimating, etc)
- LA: Idioms quiz on Friday
5.) POST A MESSAGE: Post one idiom (that you didn't learn today) and explain what it means.

Tuesday

1.) Read for 30 minutes
2.) MATH 6 - Worksheet, Chapter 9 Lesson 2 # 1-3 (You must draw out the diagrams and add them up - similar to what we did in class). Don't simply multiply, I want to see your diagrams! :) If you need some review, take a look at pg 296-297.
MATH 7 - 3.3 Worksheet
3.) Science - Do your best to compile/complete all of your research for your projects.
4.) Post a message: What is a hyperbole? Define it and give one example.

Monday

1.) Read for 30 minutes
2.) LA - Bring your novels and all your stickies! (HATCHET)
3.) SCIENCE - Research as many sections as you can (Earthquakes/Volcanoes). Remember, you have about 2 weeks to complete your assignment! In order to stay on track, you need to dedicate time to your research! Bring your research to school tomorrow (save it to Google Docs). You will be giving your peers feedback on their research tomorrow.
4.) MATH 6 - Corrections for Ch9 Lesson 1 (text) and Ch9 Lesson 2 worksheet
MATH 7 - refer to your planners.
5.) Post a message: What is the format you should follow when gathering your research for your Science project? Explain what was discussed in class today.

Thursday

1.) Read for 30 minutes
2.) LA - Complete the 'TRANSITION WORDS' worksheets (2). These are due on Monday. We will mark the 'SYNONYM' and 'ANTONYM' worksheets (2) in class tomorrow.
3.) SCIENCE - Create internal hyperlinks for your keywords. I know that many of you have already done this for many of your pages. Click here to take a look at Ammit's website! Her website allows her visitors to click on the different layers of the Earth to learn more about them. She will do this for each of her important terms throughout her website. For example, the crust, the mantle, sedimentary rock, igneous rock, rock cycle, etc. Click here for instructions. If you still can't figure it out, please post a question/comment under today's message so one of your classmates can help you out.
4.) MATH 6/7 - Complete the 2 multiplication review worksheets for Monday. Your homework from yesterday (Grade 6 and Grade 7) will be checked in class tomorrow.

1.) Read for 30 minutes
2.) LA - Finish both worksheets (Synonyms/Antonyms) if you haven't already.. Reading for context involves reading the sentence, replacing the underlined word with one of the choices, and then trying to determine if you understand the meaning of the word/sentence. If you still can't find the correct word, use a dictionary. The dictionary should be your last resort.
3.) Math 6 - Chapter 9 Lesson 1 texbook work Questions #1-6
Math 7 - pg 104 Questions 3,4,5,6, and 8
4.) Science - Peer Feedback - Create a new feedback blog page for 'TYPES OF ROCKS'. Give your group members feedback on all the different types of rocks: Igneous, Sedimentary, and metamorphic. Use the same format you used yesterday (Capitals, punctuation, spelling, grammar, content/research/information, etc). This must be completed for tomorrow. If you do not complete this, you will be unable to participate in tomorrow's activity.

4.) LA - Complete page 1 of the reading comprehension activity (True or False and Crossword activities)
5.) POST A MESSAGE: What are the different types of Convergent Boundaries and how are they different?
